Re: Ram-jet
I kept watching ebay and got lucky by just buying the intake, fuel rails, and throttle body for 750.00.
I just searched every day for about 4 months. Heh, it saved me money, and you don't need the rest in thirdgens.
S10Wildside made me a OBDII harness, and I'm using a 0411 PCM. Check out this thread https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...-opinions.html

Re: Ram-jet
I bought my intake from GMPartsDirect. Got an LS1 throttle body, and Edelbrock fuel rails which are only $80, quite a bit cheaper than the GM ones.
The Stealth Ram will be cheaper, unless you find a great deal. Try and find a complete one. The nuts and bolts and little stuff is what starts to add up. The 2 piece throttle bracket is $60+, the MAP bracket is $30!!!!
The sensors are available on other GM vehicles. I got my harness ends to convert my '730 at a junkyard for free.
I still ended up spending $125 or so on stupid little parts that I couldn't find else where.
Don't forget you need to use Vortec/Fastburn style heads. It won't bolt up to the stock heads.
