tpi diagrams or input needed

first off i have an 88 camaro 305 tpi. i am i pulled the 350 carb motor out of my car, i rebuilt the stock 305 to put back in it. i was wondering if there was any diagrams of where the sensors go on the motor and a vaccum diagram and a wiring diagram. i would like to find a wiring diagram that shows the motor and shows the location of the sensor and what color wire plugs into it, that would help me out a TON i dont know if anything like that is out there i searched the tpi board a little and didnt find anything. i would not have a problem with this except i took the tpi off over a year ago, i left all the wiring in the car but switched the whole motor so now i am going back to the stock motor and i would just like a diagram to go by as a pre break in to make sure everything is where it should be.

where does the coolant temp sensor go? the one for the computer not the one for the gauge, i am using a seperate gauge so i dont need the sensor for the stock gauge but i think there are two coolant temp sensors and the computer reads the one for open loop mode...?? am i right on this?

also what goes at the back of the intake besides the coil is there a map sensor? i know on my 86 i have a vaccum sorce running from something right beside the coil.

also i am using the stock 305 tpi auto computer and all the wiring in the car is factory 305 tpi auto, i bought a 88 305 tpi 5-speed chip, i was wondering if my shift light would work with that chip and all the factory wiring? if not is there anything i could do to make it work?

i think that is all the questions i have for now. i am just overwhelmed by all the wiring i labled most of it and i am sure i can figure out what goes to what but a diagram would help me tremendously.

The coolant temp sensor is located in the front of the intake manifold, under where the throttle body is. The gauge sender is in the driver side head.

The EGR solenoid is located there. It should have 2 vacuum lines, one coming from the front of the plenum, and and the other going to the EGR.

The PROM should make it work, but you may have to do something with the wire that goes from the ECM to the gauge panel. I'd have to look at my service manual to know for sure. Not sure if you know this or not, but it's not a shift light in the sense of it lights at 4500 RPM telling you to up shift. It's programmed for gas mileage.

Best bet is to get a factory service manual. It will have all the diagrams you could ever need, plus component locations.
These two links should give you a lot of the information you need.
