You sure the LT4 intake will bolt up? For some reason (I could be wrong) i remember or at least thought i remembered someone claiming differences in the LT4 heads. Makeing way for a difference in the way the LT4 manifold lines up or something along those lines. Again i could be wrong.

I don't think that intake is gonna bolt up, unless it has the Vortec bolt pattern. I really don't know LT1s or LT4s. Do some research and find out, then post back.

the fast burn ports are higher than normal. Why not get a Ram Jet intake?

i figured use the short runner design on the 383 because those heads are like 210cc's and the intake i can get for nothing and the heads for like $960(last time i checked),and with all the guess work taken out of it now(see lt1 intake on a 1st gen sbc post)it would seem to be a nice package.the ram jet is nice but too many differences(ls1 type tb/iat/tps/etc).

applying the lt1/4 intakes can be done on gen
1 engines. be prepared to modify and have a
good machine shop. see the link below:
http://web.camaross.com/bb/Forum12/HTML/011509.html
lt1 383 are done daily. pretty good results
a lil confusing some arent dialed in and
gripin' about "its not what they thought"
the fast burns would be a good choice, but
what are your intentions? maybe some afr190-195
heads unless you like the titanium vales and 6400rpm
so if your looking for that rpm, that bottom
end isnt ready.. your gunna need some crankshaft
and lots of work.
some good ideas...
