Project 450 hp 305 TPI not going well :(

For some reason after we get done fixing a problem some other arises. We got done installing the motor on the 92' camaro we cut the hole for the t-5 to go in, yet we find annoying problems, Why are TPI's so freakin annoying and confusing, I bought a junked 87' 305 TPI motor with 87' Computer, Is an 89 305 TPI engine harness compatible with the 87' TPI, both motors where 305 TPI 5 speeds.

It should be basically the same. Both are MAF harnesses. I'm trying to think of differences between 87 and 89.........no cold start injector(?), can't think of anything else.

I think some sensors and relays *may* are different. I seem to recall the the relays use a different connector, i.e. the 87 has the square type and the 89 takes an oval type. They may also take different distributors, big cap vs. small cap. I also think 87 was v-belt based while the 89 is serpentine. Looking at the difference in the junkyard the serpentine has a totally different air injection converter/diverter system that may mean the wres are of different lengths and have different connectors.

why not use the stock harness with the car.
the 87 isnt any more or less than the 89.
the 89 worked once before the swap. the differences
are yes the cold start injector(9th inj)
MAF i believe is different.
just use the cars harness and computer.
plug off the CSI and start it up.
was the 92 a TBI car?
high pressure pump in the tank?
