looking for superram exp'd people pls

ok here what happened, car blew hd gasket about 2 mos ago, got it running about a month ago and went to the track with the 58mm TB on it and ran a 14.2@96...WTF!!!!!
how do i go from 12.90's with a 48mm tb on superrammed motor to 14.2's!!!
i've tried several other chips, ecm's and looked it over with a scanner, the only changesmade when i got it runnig again were the bigger TB and a 140 amp alt. thats it, i can even run it a 12 deg base timng anymore with out serious spark kock @5k and up i dont what to, i was told to make it carbuerated and start having fun with the car and run faster too. i'm beginning to believe them , but i know this car run good with the efi , rough idle with 58 smooth start up and idle with 48 ? ed wright chip.
with the set up in my sig' what should this car be running? and what if i add 4.10's and a vigalante 3k stall ? thanks guys

Your setup is identical to mine except I run a ZZ3 cam. If all you did was change a blown head gasket and nothing else, my first guess would be a vacuum leak on your SR especially since you said it idles rough. Why did you blow a head gasket? Did you check the condition of the rest of the motor? (compression test?) I don't think your bigger TB is responsible...I went to a 58mm TB from stock and went faster! How's fuel pressure? Weather conditions? I'd wait on putting in gears and torque converter til you figure out what happened. I'd stay with your 3.73s but use the Vig 3000 and ET streets.

i believe the culprit showed himslef the other day in regards to my performance issues, my car seems to have beaten to death a stock converter, which would explain the shuddering evry time i gave it gas, and the slowly elated stall speed overtime, which peaked at 3200!!!
from a stock 11" converter.
what does your car run with the setup you have?
