LT1 intake gasket

Just got the intake this week. For those who are shopping for them know they've been selling fast.
I lined up the gasket (felpro 1205) to mark for the new holes, and the gasket covers about an 1/8" of the bottom of the port. The bolt holes are probably big enough to slide the gasket down a bit and still seal the water jackets. Any ideas?
Thanks, Brian

Whoa...I've been folowing these posts with the possible intent of doing this. If the Felpro 1250's don't fit because the gasket overlaps the ports (intake ports?), how will the intake fit the heads that are gasket matched to the 1250's? Just changing to stock gaskets isn't going to fix the heads.

Stock gaskets fit my LT1 intake ports PERFECTLY and are a great match to the TF heads I'm running.
What's the deal with the FelPro 1250's? Doesn't anyone trust AC Delco?

Not only that, but the GM gaskets are less expensive! (Mine fit the LT1 heads and intake perfectly, too.)

So what you're saying is that the stock GM LT1 gasket should match the intake ports on L-98 heads (TW G1 to be exact) port matched to the 1250's? I'm asking because I just found someone willing to part with there complete intake.
