what injector size type do i need?????help
I have a 91 B4C package (police special service), and went out to the track with not good results yesterday.....The car has holley steath ram intake, crane powermax 104224 cam, hooker headers, ported procomp aluminum heads, 2.02 1.60 valves, roller rockers, no smog or cats on exhaust, full MSD ignition, holley adj. fuel pressure regulator (i think set a 48psi). The throttle body (minus airfoil) and injectors are the only stock things left on the top half of the motor, and also the computer (in which crane told me the cam setup would work fine with out re burning a chip and I was not to sure of that). The car ran and sounds great, and pulls hard through middle rpm range. but was not to much faster when it was stock. (ran 14.0 with just intake, ran 13.7 with heads, headers, cam)
I was wondering if anybody knew (not guessing or just pretending to know) what size injectors at what pressure I should start with, I was thinking lt1 at 48-50 psi but someone elso told me they don't fit....i know the stock t.b. is a factor....any tips would really help....thanks guys

The LT1 injectors do fit, I just made a post about them, they are about 1/4inch shorter than stock ones, but they do work, i guess if you really want to you can shave a 1/4 inch off of the fuel rail "towers". It sounds like you need to tune it, crane probably said you dont need to tune it, if everything else is stock, but you have alot of stuff going on, that would affect the tune. I am doing almost the exact same build up right now, minus the cam.
This is what I am going to get, to tune.

ok, i figured it needed bigger injectors, stock are 22lbs aren't they?? 24's should do the job i figured....on the holley stealth ram intake setup the rails mount on the side of the intake instead of being bolted straight down, so shaving a 1/4 inch off would only move them inward 1/4 instead of down....to move them down i would have to re drill the holes on the side of the intake which i really don't want to do, so will they fit without any shaving?? and can i just put the stock electical connectors on them and drive??

HE HAS A HOLLY STEALTH. THAT MANIFOLD IS SET UP TO ACCEPT A 60MM O RING TO O RING INJECTOR..ITS NOT STOCK SO THE SHAVING OF THE MOUNTS IS NOT NESSASARY. GO GET BOSCH OR LUCAS AND STAY AWAY FROM THE GM MULTECS. THE LT1 IS 24 LBS.. THE BOSCH BLUE TOPS ARE 25.2 AT 43.5PSI.. MUCH BETTER INJECTOR.
