Vacuum leak/erratic idle only when cold?

When it's cold, I get about a 2-300 RPM varience (settles down, pops up, settles down, pops up, 5 second cycle or so). After it warms up, steady as can be.

Any suggestions?

check the temp sender going to the ECM. Its located in the front of the base.

Mine would idle irradcally until it warmed up, that was the problem, the sensor was on its way out.

The front of the base? You mean the intake manifold?

yes, its located in the front of the intake manifold, however, iv heard of a slight intake leak or gasket leak could cause ur symptom, when the engine heats up, the metal expands and kinda seals up the hole.
have u checked ur vacuum?

the CTS could also very well be the problem, id check both.

here's where I suck... What's a CTS, and what SHOULD my vacuum be at idle?
