When I did my TFS G1's, bronze guides and seals cost about $40 I think. The seals can be done with the heads installed, not recommended, but the guides have to be done with the heads removed.
Hey,
Does anybody know if viton seals are good for a street/strip car or should I stick with rubber?
I just bought a pair of Iron Eagles with teflon seals and I hear they don't last. I want to change them befor I install the heads.
Thanks,
Ken

valve seals are valve seals. no, to do guides the heads have to be off. changing seals alone isn't very difficult. after the first one, the rest are easy. just don't drop a retainer!!! you should be able to get buy just changing seals.
