How much HP does TPI support? (please read)

im just getting ready to drop in a 340hp 350 motor, and am in the process of buying a tuned port injection from a guy, it came off a 305 but im going to change injectors and get a new chip, those should be the only two mods I need, but im curious, how much HP does the tuned port support? anyone know the best place to get a custom fuel chip for the TPI? give me your thoughts.. also, im going to put in a new tranny, so what you recommend? TH350? TH400? 700R4? and why? Would I want a torque converter? how much those run?let me know guys

it all depends on what you want to do with your car, if you want a track car a th-400 is good because it has a 1st gear ratio with is kind of tall so people run higher rear end gears, a th-350 isnt bad for street or track but doesnt have overdrive, a 700r4 can be built to stand horsepower but mine stock slipped all the time, right now im getting ready to swap a 4l80e in with the jet performance kit...painless wiring probably makes a kit for swapping a tpi in just about anything but you have to check on it...
