SLP Runner Mod.. can't find it

I have seen a poster hogging out SLP siamesed runners and showing 6 to 7K rpm results with pictures. I can't find this posting.

Is it on this board or another?

Help

Jim

I think you mean Kevin91Z. I looked for a follow-up to his post modifying the runners, but I couldn't find one.

So Kevin, what happened?

That's not the one I'm thinking of. Kevin cut the runners down the middle and joined all four tubes together.

Its not done yet. The last pictures I posted are as far as they've been done. A friend of mine is doing it (they are his runners, I'm buying them from him when he's done), and he is really busy with work and his own project.

Pictures 267 and 268, as well as the MVC's at the bottom, are them. The middle pics are Edelbrock vs SLP headers I used in another post on the Exhaust board.

That is a really interesting idea he has going there.... I wonder how it will work out... It seems as though it would have a little of the best of both worlds - leaning more towards the long tube runner design, but still be a compromise of sorts... Interesting.....
