Smog Pump & ECM question

I resently had to remove the top end of my engine and upon replacing everything I figured I would leave off all the smog pump junk since I dont have to pass emissions where I live. My question is if I just unplug the two connectors from the A.I.R. system will it throw a code, The connectors that I am speaking of are the two that are over the front of the passangers side valve cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance .. Lane !
