355tip without flowing your piece youll never know what its really doing and where. Its money well spent and can answer some unknowns.

Youd pay to get your heads flowed...find what an exhaust system would flow so why not the intake. Food for thought.

Trying to get an accel base I just finished flowed. It will be bolted to a set of new 195 AFR street heads which seems to be the most popular one guys are using. Guy it belongs to isnt interested in the #s but I am and bet there are others. heck someones gotta spend it.

information costs $ to get sometimes but is priceless sometimes.

Like the pics of that ported Eddy. looks like a LOT was removed from the roof, is there enough material in there to do through the whole port like that? didnt get that impression from the accel but again dont have a sonic tester either.
Dear Santa, Ive totally sucked this year but want one anyway

With that type of work, the accel flowed328-330. The Edelbrock flowed 315-320. It has been done.

Did you notice how much weld was applied to the roof before the porting began?
The rest of the port is large enough with a little help that is.

Here is what the dyno graph looks like after porting this way.

By adding the weld on top it not only allows a taller port height but you can "arch" the port to match up to the head instead of being at an awkward angle. This will promote better flow into the head. I am about ready to take an Accel manifold to the welding shop to do just that. With the shorter Bosch lll injectors versus the factory ones I can raise the injector port without losing anything. Win win all the way around.

Very impressed with those graphs...

I have a supercharged 355. I'm looking at doing something like this while the car is down. Don, can you get me a Edelbrock base ported to me in NC from Jerry?

If so, how much. If it matters I have siamesed SLP runners gasket matched and a ported plenium(58mm tb and openings) with siamesed holes on it as well...

Nope, Jerry doesn't do them now, talk to Dr. J's performance.com he does them, maybe $625 with welding. (to your manifold)

when you say raise the injector ports do you mean you have to weld in bungs to hold the injectors?

does the $625 port job and getting 320-330cfm out of an accel base mean they need to have the injector bungs welded in also or just have the roof welded and ported?

I don't think Dr J welded any injector bungs. So I would say no in your case. I am shooting for over 550hp at the motor and need some cross sectional area.
