tpi intake question
tpi intake question
i have the 350 tpi in my iroc and want to make it ram air. i know they sell a kit for it but who wants to pay for it. i know that u can do it urself but forgot exactly so if anyone can help i'd appreciate it.
also what kind of power gains would i see by doin this and would i have to buy a aftermarket chip to correct the lean/rich running problems?

Look in the Technical Article link section of the site, you'll find what you want there. As far as having do to anything to the car b/c of adding the ram air the answer would be no. The slight amount of additional air the computer can compensate for without a problem. HP gains, I don't know, maybe 5-10HP tops I would guess. If you feel it it'll be on the parkway once you're at speed and then start to really accelerate from there. You'll notice nothing while going slow.
