will the tpi setup work on a 400 small block?

Will the stock TPI work on a 400, yes with modifications. Will you see the maximum potential for your engine, No.

I run TPI on my 406...........has a 52mm throttle body........24lb/hr injectors, custom chip and runs like a bat out of hell........

Do I rev it over 5K? No, so might not be able to keep up with the displacement. Mine is in a K5 Blazer - even in the sand no real need to rev it that hi.

a 400+ ci motor with stock tpi should be used for just an offroad vehicle that doesnt need to rev high. a 400 with TPI makes massive amounts of torque. great for towing and offroading.
