HEY, I just bought a 87 iroc-z with a 350 tpi with a 5speed manual and a 3.45 posi rear. Now, Im only 16 and my dad only knows stuff about older mucsle cars. The car runs and performs just great but leaves a puttle in the drive way, I thought it was the rear main seal but I had it at the shop and they said it was my oil sending unit. I've never heard of one of these things leaking. But any way, how much will it cost to get it fixed and it that the only thing i have to worry about. And yes, it is a 350 Jasper....I've blown out thrid gear 3 times, cuz T5's suck....But With around 350 horsepower, who wouldn't blow out a T5?

if they said that it is only leaking from there then that is good. i just bought one and i think i paid 30 or 40$ for it. the unit is right above the oil filter its not that hard to replac. it also has 3 wires coming out of it.

its like $10 bucks and it only has 1 wire on the 87
also are you sure its a 350 because the 350's only had autos.

[thanks..........but yes, it is a 350 jasper motor....the owner before me put it in and a alot of performane work done. I just need a vette 6 speed or a muncie 4speed to use ie to its fullest power.
