Shouldn't be that hard. Just be sure to relieve the fuel pressure and when you're lifting the fuel rail, lift it evenly on both sides. Don't want one of the injector's o-rings to fall into the intake.

My newest Ride:

'85 Silver L98 Corvette w/4+3 manual tranny. not bad for $3500.

Take the plenum off ... if you've never done this be careful, there's a sensor on the back underneath that has to be unplugged and a vacuum hose underneath the throttle body that has to be undone. After the plenum is off, remove the runners.... if you have the cold start injector on the drivers side, it's easiest to remove it from the back of the fuel rails as well. After that, all you gotta do is remove the 4 - 10mm bolts holding the fuel rails down and disconnect the fuel lines (1 - 15mm, the other 5/8 I believe) and remove the rails. After the rails are off, flip it over and you will see metal retaining clips holding the injectors to the rails. The clips don't come off just yet.... you slide the clip to the other side and this will essentially "unlock" the injector and you can pull it out of the rail. This can be tough to do and on 7 out of the 8 of mine, the o-ring was still stuck up in there after the injector came out. The o-rings are easy to get out though. That's all there is to it. If you put different injectors in, just take the metal clips off the old injectors and put them on the new injectors and, as Haynes would state, "intallation is reverse of the removal". Have fun.
