Cold Air for MAF TPI Firebirds??

I can't find any help on them. Only on speed density kits or Camaro setups w/ 2 airboxes. Anyone know of any tech articles i can look at for a MAF TPI cold air setup?

SLP sells a cold air kit for the mass air flow cars. I have one and it fit well and works well.

Wow.. those are some damn good times for a nearly stock 305.... Those are at the track, not G-Tech, right? Have you made any other mods not in your sig?

Hello,

SLP's kit is really just a new air box, and 1988-92 plumbing.

THe airbox however goes into the fender, which is fairly cold air.

I think the MAF is the next big restriction, even with my screens out.

I run w/out an airfilter on the strip. I pull
(or was pulling, Ive done mods since then)consistant 13.5 with the filter OUT.
With the filter in, I pull 13.9, 14.0, etc.

I have SLP runners and ported plenum now, and am working on a bigger throttle body.

The times and mods in my sig are all that has been done to the car, it runs very well for a 305. The times are track times.

So anesthes, are you saying that you run it without the maf screens or the air filter. That could be qite dangrous to your pocket with the cost of maf sensors. Just a thoght.
