I'm thinking about getting one of those little airfoils they sell for the throttle body. How effective are they in re-routing air? Any power gain come from that?

I got an SLP airfoil a while back and did not notice any real difference. I have heard some people say that it gives a little better throttle response. Just don't expect too much from it. If you can get one cheap I would say go for it, it certainly can't hurt.

they really don't DO anything until around 500 HP thats when u notice a difference

They are a good compliment to an overall performance package, but don't expect any huge gains for the air foil alone. I would suggest surfing eBay and try to pick up a used one for cheap.
