1.5 or 1.6?
I will be swapping my ED 6085's on my motor pretty quick and I was wondering if I should get 1.5 or 1.6 roller rockers. The combo I have is an Accel base, mildy opened SLP runners, TPIS AFPR, TPIS 52MM TB, ported and siamesed plenum, Comp roller cam with .510 lift, 210 220 duration, 114 LSA, gutted maf, big K&N. The tranny in the car is a 2004-R with a 2600 RPM stall, and the car has a 3.73 rear gear. What do you all think? Responses are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Most unported heads approach 85 or 95 % of peak flow at .400 to .450 lift and do not need or want a maximum valve lift over .540 to.555. Often a low cam lift with 1.6 ratio rockers is very helpful on the intake side as long as lift is kept to about .550. Exhaust is less critical with 1.5 or 1.55 being the most popular.
