Hey Guido? (or anyone else, fuel pressure Q's)

I've tried everything, and it's still messing with me. I've backed the screw out on the regulator so far that like a 1/4 inch of threads are now exposed that never were before (you can see how clean the threads are). Still though, with the vacuum line disconnected, it's showing like 60 psi!! (this is at the gauge connected to the schraeder) Where did you have it set before?

Any suggestions would be great, since if I understand correctly, with the vacuum line off, it should be sporting a measly 42-45 psi, right?

Thanks all (Guido especially if you read this)

Its supposed to read around 46psi with the vacuum disconnected, but that varies a little depending on the car. 60 is way too high. Maybe something in that adjustable regulator is sticking?

I was reading about 36 to 40 with the vacuum line connected. Try reconnecting the vacuum line and measure it again.

So 36-40 is idle FP? OR rather, does anyone know what unmodified FP should be at idle?

If so, I"m not too bad, cause it's about 40 or so with the hose connected. Thanks!
