opinions on this setup?

right now i am in the process of resealing my intake manifold, as it is leaking badly.
while i have everything apart, i was thinking that i could probably scrape together the money for the following mods:
1) sending the plenum to tpis, or having my uncle's machine shop port/ polish it (tpis claims that they knock out some of the material inside-i think its $85 but you have to send them the plenum and it could take a while (plus at my uncle's it would be free)
2) larger intake runners from tpis or have the current ones extrude honed(cheaper)
3) sending out intake manifold for port/ polish or again having the shop do it
4) tb coolant bypass-does this help
--well, opinions are greatly appreciated, as i have some choices, i dont want to pay for something that wont give me any power!
also if there are any other budget mods in this area, it would be greatly appreciated

oh btw the engine is an lb9 auto w/ k&n's and i believe, an ads super chip

Have your uncle do all that...

you can almost do the plenum with a pocket knife, why pay TPIS $85...

I wouldn't worry about a TB just yet if I were you. Those 48mm pieces flow about 630-650 cfm. That's plenty for your application.

Go for new runners, there's not enough meat in the stock ones to warrant extrude-honing them.

Might want to consider a new base as well, or do some work to yours.

Plenum porting is a snap, don't pay 85 bucks for it.
