How about this setup????
How about this setup????
I currently have a basically stock tuned port injected motor in my Camaro, except for the fact that I rebuilt the entire motor (bored out to 355 ci, forged aluminum pistons). I want to upgrade it. I was thinking of this setup:
-52 mm throttle body
-Accel SuperRam plenum/runners
-High flow manifold base (possibly Accel, Edelbrock, or Vortec)
-LT4 HOT cam kit
-GM Fastburn heads (12464298)
-Hooker 1 5/8" headers
My questions are:
Is this a good setup? What kind of horsepower/torque do you think this would produce? Will all of those high flow bases bolt up to the fastburn heads? What kind of compression ratio do you think this would produce? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Im not too sure on this, but I believe the fastburn heads will only accept the vortec base. Someone correct me. Why are you choosing those heads? I think those headers are too small for that engine. You may want to look at a LPE superram cam instead of the hot cam. Compression depends on pistons since those heads are 64ccs like stock, what kind are they?
Thanks for the reply. I think you're right about the base. I talked to an engine builder about the headers and he said as long as the primaries are bigger than the exhaust valves, you are okay. The primaries are 1.625", and the valves are 1.6". Any other recommendations for this setup? Thanks again.
