SuperRam owners- throttle bracket ?

The shop that's putting on my SR, heads, and cam is almost done except they've hit a
snafu on the throttle bracket. They said the stock one won't work on the SR. When I
originally received my SR, I noticed the absence of a special throttle bracket and called the place I purchased it from to inquire about sending me one. They called the following day and said that the Accel tech people said to reuse the stock one
So, what is everyone else doing? Is there another throttle bracket that I need, or does
the stock one need to be modified some how? Thanks for the help.

Mine came with a bracket so that's what I used.

You need to get one unless there's some way to modify the stock one but I don't see how.

You can get by with the stock one,the only problem is the angle that the TV cable is at. You can see the difference if you compare the two. The SuperRam bracket tilts the backside of the TV cable at more of a downward angle. So there is no contact with the underside of the SuperRam plenum. The stock Bracket wedges the TV cable as it runs under the plenum and puts it in a bind. If you force it you can get it to go in the stock bracket. But i had problems getting the TV cable to adjust because of the pressure. I would locate the correct one if you can better in the long run for the TV cable.

I got The correct bracket when I bought the plenum. Make sure you are getting full throttle. I had to put a spacer in by the gas pedal to get mine to open all the way with the BBk tb.

The throttle cable worked fine with the stock bracket and SuperRam. The bolt pattern is the same, should work Mike. The TV cable was the only problem I had.

The stock bracket works fine. The only problem is running the throttle cables under the runners before you put the top on, I forgot that once And it can't squeeze through... oh man was I frustrated about that.
