code 32 on cold starts?
has anyone had issues with rough cold starts giving a code 32?
i have been lately i have to start the car 5 or 6 times before it doesnt show up or unbolt the battery to clear it and doesnt come back till the next time i start it cold
once i get rid of the code by either of those two ways it never appears again while driving
does this make any sense to any one???

Re: code 32 on cold starts?
egr and and egr temp sensor and egr solenoid are like 1 yr 1/2 old and the car has barely be driven until now. its been in pieces in my garage for most of that time not being driven
just replaced one of the hard vacuum tubes cuz one was brittle and cracked in half when i was working on the engine
i recently had to remove the solenoid so i can get access to the distributor hold down bolt and since ive had this little code 32 problem.
everything is hooked up and bolted back in
but like i said it only happens on cold starts and if i keep restarting or disconnect the battery it wont come back until the next time its started cold

make sure you did not mix up either of the vacuum lines going to the solenoid . also make sure you plugged the solenoid back in , the egr temp switch , and the MAT switch under the plenum .

turns out i pulled one of teh vacuum lines otu when tryign to get teh solenoid out of the way to get to my distributor hold down bolt
and apparently the stupid solenoid is grounded by the bolt that botls it down
i turned that a little tighter and code went away cuz the vacuum line was plugged in and it still came back btu seeems fien after i plugged it in and tightened the bolt
