Oil sending unit?
ok, so ur asking if there will be any engine damage from a bad oil pressure sending unit?
or the oil pump?
if its the pressure sending unit NO, as long as it wasn't leaking and u leaked all ur oil out
most of the stock sending units don't work that good anyways. you could go forever without it working.
oil pump, then i don't think the car would last 8000 miles.
