will 86 maf work on 87 TPI????
I'm looking at an MAF sensor from some guys car but will an 86 Sensor work on an 87 TPI Iroc??? I have numbers if you guys need.

Actually, the 85 will work also, I used the same one I've had after I upgraded to the "165" ECM...

The V-8 MAFs from '86-'90 are all Bosch analog units, and should be compatible. As long as the replacement has a five-wire connector that matches the wiring harness, you should be safe. The Bosch P/N is G28D 213 D04, and the GM P/N is 14094712.
Kevin WOULD have to bring up the "conversion" factor, just to confuse things.
If it doesn't work out for you because the MAF is not functional, check into a Wells MAF as a replacement.
