I am building a 350 from the block up and am not sure what heads to purchase. I will be using the FIRST induction system and have about $1500 to spend on heads. Now my goal for the engine is to have it be a major torque monster. Im shooting for around 400 ftlbs to the wheels. I dont care what my hp comes out to. Im mainly street light to street light and am obsessed with the seat of the pants excitment. Now i am stuck between afr eliminators, dart pro1s, and rhs. I am a newb with engines specs and what the numbers mean and will produce. So for the heads i dont know if i want 180cc or 195cc intake valve or what size combustion chamber or any of that stuff. So for my application ( 1. torque monster, 2. reliable daily driver, 3.decent fuel economy, 4. around 10:1 comp) which heads would be a good fit for me? This is obviously my first engine build so all tips, tricks of the trade, and comments about my setup would be greatly appreciated

 

theres a guy on here selling a set (1 got wrecked) of gm performance heads fully assemblied with a 350 set of full roller rockers for something like 600 shipped which is a great deal. then you can buy 1 head to replace the bad one and your set to go with $1600 in parts for a little over 1100.
