Grinding inside plenum?
I was reading an easy way to improve a small amount of air flow on a stock plenum is to grind down the "walls" in front of the holes for the IAC valve in the plenum. Can anything go wrong by grinding these walls down?

Nope, unless you grind a hole in the side or something. I noticed much crisper response after. And another 50 or so usable rpm. Also some of the holes for the runners were partially blocked by casting flash; I smoothed that down as well.

I have also removed the wall at the same time i siamesed the runner holes and installed SLP runners hogged them out and siamesed them up as far as i could down the the tubes.Did give me a couple of hundreds more rpm to work with that is my experience.

I did the same, deff a good thing. You can't mess it up, hopefully. Good mod and it's free.

Re: Grinding inside plenum?
I switched to an upper plenium that had this done before I got it. Noticed a little better response on the throttle. I hardly take my motor to peak rpm so I have no say-so in that.
