Help me choose new heads

Hey guys Im in a lil bit of a bind weighin my options for what to do with the top end of my motor.Currently I have Corvette aluminum L98 heads, they are fairly stock with sum valve angle work. The block is a 79 block and is bored .30 over,Hooker 2055s,march polished serpentine pulleys, custom polished cold air intake, stock sd tpi from a 92 T/A.The cam is currently unknown specs but was told its comparible to comp cams xe.I know its fairly aggressive and most likely not computer friendly. It is lopey and has so far produce good amount of torque and pulls as much as the tpi system will allow up top.Over this winter coming up I want to improve on this build and see what I can get out of her and would like some friendly advice.Ive seen many of you are running afr195cc heads<what other heads do you guys recommend for sbc tpi for a mild to wild buildup.Im also piecing together a hsr for the future so keep that in mind and maybe thinking of chaning my cam and then getting a fine tuned chip to iron it all out. Also one other question I have for you guys with mild setups..what is your base timing set to.Mine is currently at 15*btc..seems a lil high to me but as I increase base timing the motor gets smoother idling but revs up?
