Fuel Delivery

Hi new guy here trying to absorb all the good info. I'm getting ready to do a TPI swap on my k5 blazer, what I was wondering but couldn't find in searching was...I'm planning on running a small fuel surge tank under the hood to feed the in-line high pressure pump and service for the return fuel line the blazer does not have...and my question is can I use the exsisting mechanical pump to feed the surge tank, or would it really be better to install and electric low pressure pump near the fuel tank to feed the surge tank?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Fuel Delivery

Nobody knows about this? Hmmm...I was hoping someone might at least have an opinion on this. I'm getting ready to setup the fuel system and place an order for my pump or pumps, but didn't want to buy two if it wasn't necessary.

Re: Fuel Delivery

I’m running a 525 pump with 6an ptfe lines(return and feed) on ethanol. No issues. Motor is a cammed 6.0, 450 crank hp…. I’m planning on using the same fuel system when I add a turbo this coming winter
