Carb to TPI swap does inline pump need regulating?

Engine: 5.0 TBI, 3.8 Turbo, 3.6 Twin Turbo
Transmission: 700r4, 2004r, 6 Speed
Axle/Gears: 2.73, 3.27
Carb to TPI swap does inline pump need regulating?
Hey everyone, i am in the process of converting from carbed to TPI im fine with all the wiring i had a donor car. I have the intank pump and tank setup but it gave me probs in the old car. What im wondering is, if i put an inline pump in (which i really want to do!) Taking the tank out of the donor car after it was flipped on its side and i had zip cut 90% of things in the way it was still a you know what... to remove. Do i have to put a fuel pressure regulator? the tpi setup already has one doesn't it? Is all i need to do is just put on an inline pump? My setup is just a 305 TPI with a mild cam nothing else. I'm not familiar with using an external fuel pump, but yes there is a fuel pressure regulator on the TPI fuel rails. Its the round black piece.

So i just want to make sure that i can just bolt on an msd inline pump and that all. Do i need to get the same psi as the stock pump? or will the stock regulator deal with everything to match up an aftermarket inline with the stock intank.
