I looked all around the website and I cant find any help so I need to know if i have an 89 305TBI set up camaro with the wiring harness still in it. What all do I have to modify to get the 305 TPI engine to plug up correctly with all the wires. I have a complete 305 TPI engine with everything on it and all the injectors wires still on it just cut. Since the TBI only has 2 injectors how do I go from that 2 to the 8 injectors needed for the LB9. I also have the ECM and fuel pump for the Tpi so is that all I need to worry about is going from 2 injectors to 8? Thanks for the help.

 

As far as I know, you will need to get a TPI wiring harness with a computer & chip from a 305 TPI car. I'm not aware that you can modify a TBI harness to make it work with TPI.

 

A TBI harness can be modified to work with a SD TPI setup. it involves cutting and splicing in more injector connectors, lengthening connections for TPS and IAC, and repinning the ECM plugs, mroe work than its worth, just track down a true SD harness.
