MAF sensors for 87 TPI
Hey gang
My MAF sensor is the restriction in my engine total output has anyone used some of the stuff available for trucks and phords that flows more air in conjunction with their existing TPI stuff? I know the thing will need to be tuned but can a larger MAF be tuned to work. or are their output signals completely compatible?

I saw a guy cut the round housing off of the maf leaving just the sensor and the little square electronics box on the bottom.Then he weldded it into a 3.5 or so piece 0f meatal tubing and made a bigger maf.I think it was Orr89 IIRC.Other people have done similar things.Try searching around.
