data connector....
ok, so my car was originally a 305 4bbl carb (lg4 i believe), I am in the process of converting it to tpi because i am sick of after market carbs but anyways. my question is do i have to change the data connector and wires in my car to one that was used in a tpi car?
if so, does anyone have one?

Re: data connector....
Not sure what you're really asking here. You'll need a TPI harness with a compatible ECM, a TPI chip, and all the sensors.

Re: data connector....
I mean the adl connecter under the dash on the drivers side, you know for the engine codes and such. I was simply wondering if the current carb computers connector is the same as the TPI computers connector/wires. I have the computer and wiring harness..sensors are on the way but i want to make sure i have everything ready to go before i start the car for the first time.

Re: data connector....
The connector itself is the same, but it's part of the ECM underdash harness. Certain pins are present on certain years/engines too. For example, the TPI ALDL will have the fuel pump test pin, the LG4 will not. If you have a TPI donor car, I'd recommend just swapping the entire underdash harness.
