Quick Answers to long Questions

Hello all,
I am installing a TPI MAF into me 1st gen camaro. Here are the questions so I can finish this 3 year project. First I will provide some detail.
350 Crate motor
Computer 1227165
Painless Harness
MAF system

Questions:
1. Will a 100psi Fuel pump work w/19lb injectors? (it was free)
2. Do I need a VSS or can I bypass it without issues?
3. Do I need to delete the Cold Start system?
4. EGR was removed, what do I do with the vacuum from the fuel regulators?
5. Is someone knowledgable about TPI give me a number to call and talk to?
6. Where can I buy a complete intake duct system?

Thanks for any responses in advance

Mike

Re: Quick Answers to long Questions

1. no. and if your running a 350 motor you should run at least 22lb injectors. if it is a built 350 then at least a set of 24lbs.
2. what kind of transmission are you running? mechanical speedometer? lock up torque converter? you can bypass it but make sure that code in your chip is turned off or you will display a check engine light.
3. i would. more parts in the way and ugly to look at. i used a small freeze plug to close the runner hole, and a pipe plug to seal off the fuel rail. use a chip from an 89 camaro of firebird. it puts the extra cold start fuel into the chip to eleminate the extra injector. what year painless wiring harness did you buy?
4. vacumn cap or plug one and use the other one for the fuel pressure regulator.
5. you can email me at sscentral@msn.com
6. you can find them on ebay all day long. i would buy only the piece that attaches to the throttle body and the MAF then make a cold air intake from some intercooler pipe and jam an open element air filter on the end. connect the pipe to the MAF with a silicone sleeve and a couple of band clamps.

Re: Quick Answers to long Questions

I am running a 4 speed manual transmission with cable. The harness is a Painless #60102 86-89 TPI MAF standard Harness with Cold Start wires. I have all the cold start parts new but I keep reading that people just delete them. The engine is a new 93 Chevy 350 crate engine Marine application that had a highrise 4 barrel intake on it. I had to do machine work to get the intake to fit with the four center bolts being at a different angle (vortec styl).
Thanx for the help
