What MAF code did you get? 33 or 34? When you checked the fuel presurre after shutting off the car how long does it take to bleed down to zero?

Also how does it run with the MAF unplugged?

it usually takes a while to bleed down longer than an hour also the guy that i bought it from said he replaced the fuel pump with a high flow unit. the code that shoots out is 33 i diconnected the maf today and started it, the car hated it and instantly poped up the code. any help is appreciated thanks

Assuming you have no vacuum leaks hint hint this question would be better researched at the prom board.
I've been fighting for nearly a year on and off with my 383's idle surge problem. It has taken me playing with idle air, idle spark, O2 switchover points, throttle follower, and a few other tweaks to get it to idle nearly surge free.
