Bad Vacuum Leak?

My car has a real bad vacuum leak and I can't find where its coming from. The car will start but it will not idle. It sounds like it is coming from the drivers side. This happened after I just finished adjusting the valves, put an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on, and put new intake gaskets on. Where do you think this could be coming from?

check this out... the left and right lower runner gaskets are different but will bolt up to either side, if you put the wrong one on the wrong side you will have a bad vac leak like you describe. it will race too like 2200 rpm. I bet thats what you did.. also the cold start not sealed will leak vac

It does sound like it is coming from the cold start injector. I'll check it out. I was able to get the car to idle now.

Re: Bad Vacuum Leak?

Spray a little carb cleaner where you hear the leak. The engine will rev when you hit the right spot. Just use short bursts be careful .hope it work for you.

if its racing over 2000 don't waste your time with carb cleaner, it will just suck in.. if its under 2000 it will work// use smoke with engine off
