91 L98 350 TPI cam # 155 CPC BC 13 installed?
I bought a 91 Formula with a rebuilt 350 L98 TPI with 30K on the rebuild. The engine is out and I'm installed all new gaskets and cleaning it up. The engine is rebuilt and the block and heads are the original.
I removed the cam and the only P/N I could find on the cam is: 155cpc.bc.13... I not to sure of the correct order of the numbers, dots and letters.
I've done a search on Google and TGO and members are saying its a 87 305 LO3 cam 10088155.
How is 155 cpc bc 13 translated to 10088155?
I'm scratching my head wondering why they would rebuild this engine and replace the 90-92 305-350 TPI cam 10111773 with the 87 305 LO3 weak 10088155 cam ????
Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.
Thx. in advance.

Re: 91 L98 350 TPI cam # 155 CPC BC 13 installed?
Let me simplify my question.
If a cam is stamped 155 cpc bc 13 how do you turn that into GM P/N 10088155?
What are the letters and numbers stamped on a 10111773 cam?

Thx. Doug but I have read that and it doesn't say 155 cpc bc 13 = GM p/n 10088155 or any other GM cam p/n

Re: 91 L98 350 TPI cam # 155 CPC BC 13 installed?
Here is the best info I could find....155 is the cam 110088155, CPC stands for Chevy Pontiac Canada, BC for British Columbia, 13 ? Date code?
The CPC division of GM ran from 84-91 then was downsized and integrated. Here is some info on CPC... http://www.gm.com/experience/technol...ltion%20LR.pdf
and
http://wiki.gmnext.com/wiki/index.ph...undry_Division
Hope this helps,
Doug
