Heater core hose/pipe

I have been looking for the correct heater core hose that runs form the heater core, across the firewall, over the bower, then back up to the radiator.
It seems part of this is a metal pipe where it runs along the engine. Mine has been cut and the new hose is laying on top of the engine. The metal pipe is still laying in the engine compartment. The local part stores think I am nuts. Can anyone let me know a part number or a supplier for this hose?

Thanks!

OK, maybe I am nuts, but that pipe IS in there with a rubber hose on the end!

Re: Heater core hose/pipe

The hoses go from the heater to the throttle body and use a small curved chunk to connect to the metal tube. The other end of the tube goes to the rad.
