code 24, 42, 46??? searcg function not working
hey i have a 89 iroc 5.7TPI
check engine light came on while cruising. got codes 24, 42, 46. runs fine, only issue is bogging down on accel when cold only. after warm up it is fine.
any help?
i know 24 is speedo sensor (which i don't believe my car has) or IAC hot temp or vacuum.
42 is EST or ignition
46 is anti theft or power steering switch.
thanks!

Code 24 is a problem with the vehicle speed sensor circuit. Your car has one. It is located behind the instrument cluster mounted on the speedo. You will have to remove the cluster to get to it. I attached a chart for your code 42. Code 46 is a vehicle anti-theft system problem. If the car cranks and starts, you should be fine but might need some diagnosing in the future.
