I have decided to go with the GM performance 350 HO vortec create engine to be able to keep a TPI system on my 89 conv. Iroc. Along with TPI vortec intake, High-flo runners, and 58 mm throttle body. I am considering buying a turn-key engine and selling the carb and intake off of it so everything on the engine is new. Will everything else on the turn-key engine work with the TPI setup? Is there anything additional I will need for this setup? New fuel injectors? Chip/programmer? Ignition? My only other question is what headers are best/cheapest w/o smog setup?

 

You'll need slightly larger injectors and a new prom burned.
