Fuel or Computer problems???
To start off i have a 92 z28 with a 350 L98. It does have an aftermarket stereo. The other day I was driving and the car started to sputter on me then it died. When i tried to restart it it would fire up then die down right away I still have feul pressure at the rails but the car still wont start. Is there anyway my alternator would not be able to handle my stereo and running the car? Bad Computer? Any ideas???? Im very new to working on cars so any advice would be greatly appriciated. Thank you

If it starts and then dies...your alternator is fine.
Try starting it while holding the gas a bit.

maybe fuel related , ever changed the fuel filter ? could be clogged . I would try that first , if it still does the same thing start checking fuel pressure to see if the fuel pump is good.

re: Fuel or Computer problems???
take your ignition module out of ur distributor and take it to advanced auto or autozone, they can test it to see if its bad. make them test it like 5 or 6 times, usally it will test good the first couple of times but after it starts to heat up it will start acting bad, or failing tests so to speak. but that would cause ur car to start and die. my camaro did the same thing. the longer id let it sit the longer it would stay started. i had my module tested and it took 7 tests for it to heat up and give errors.
