Can I use these Dart heads.
Hey,
I have a guy with a set of these heads. They have 8 hours on them before the block threw a rod. The heads were checked on that cylinder for warranty reasons. It is missing one valve that got lost when it was being checked. He is selling them for $500 bucks for the pair. Take a look at what I have and please let me know if u think they will work with what I have and maybe a 383 for later.

Re: Can I use these Dart heads.
Here is my 2 cents...
200cc heads are a little large for TPI but should work fine. I run Dart 180cc's on my setup and they bolted onto the block with no problems.
However, since these are not centerbolt heads, you will need new valve covers and non-self-aligning rockers. Also, they do not have the EGR crossover.
I don't see anything about a cam in your sig, so I'm going to assume you are running the stock one. I would go ahead and put a larger cam in if you are going to go to the trouble of pulling the heads. In fact, since you are getting a good deal on the heads, you may want to go ahead and upgrade the springs.
Again, just my 2 cents.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the 2 Cents.
Yes I have the stock internals. Stock cam. I know the heads are a bit large for a stock 350 but I was hoping that i could use these heads for a 350 and a 383 I would like to build. Rather not buy two sets of heads. I don't have to worry about emmisions so no Egr is a bonus for me. I was just worried about still being able to use my SLP headers and Edelbrock intake.
Thanks again

Re: Can I use these Dart heads.
Yes you can use them, but first I'd have them re-checked for valveguide damage, deck straightness, and spring pressure. It may take a little bit of work to set them up again for your application. You may have to modify the bolt holes on your intake base to match the heads but that's not such a big deal. The exhaust should match up no problem. If the heads come with guideplates then you'll also need different rockers & pushrods.
