Do I still have a ESC module if my ECU has a MEMCAL chip?
Hey guys, pulled my ecu on the weekend among other things to get the dash gauges out and change the SES light.
I can now pull the ECU codes and light works fine.
The engine however is idling VERY low, rough as guts, and the car feels gutless.
If i rev the car in Park or nuetral it sounds great and doesn't miss or have a flat spot, but in drive its sluggish as anything. I'm wondering if its because the ecu isn't advancing the spark timing or something, and if its not is it something I've bumped or unplugged during my travels through the dash?
The car also smells REALLY rich.
