egr..
So im putting vette heads 113's on my 305..they dont have an egr passage and im not about to put the stock log type exhaust on it just for an egr valve.
Does anyone know if i can pass NJ emissions without it? Will it hurt the performance of the engine or anything of the such?
thanks!

Re: egr..
for Corvette EGR on the TPI board. I've posted my previous setup with headers and there have been a couple other threads on this topic recently.Yes its possible to pass smog without it hooked up, depending on your camshaft. But you will probably also get a Code 32 while driving, as well.

You can get a PROM burned that will eliminate the EGR and the code 32. If NJ is still sniffing tailpipes I doubt it will pass (high NoX) though.
