Manifold Vacuum port
Is the manifold vacuum port supposed to be plugged. I have a 305 TBI. If it is not supposed to be plugged what should be routed to it. Pics would be helpful.. Diagrams are unclear to me. Thanks.
The port is located next to egr..

You're talking about that little silver colored six-sided fitting between the Egr valve and the distributor aren't you? It goes to a little plastic valve and then black plastic vacuum lines ? Just checking.

Re: Manifold Vacuum port
If the port you mean is the one I described in my last post, it goes to the bottom of a plastic valve that splits off in two directions. One side connects to a black plastic vacuum line that goes into the wiring harness right by where the one that controls the heater valve comes out. The other side goes way up to the front of driver side and divides between cruise control thing and round plastic globe like thing under the charcoal canister. Not great on the terminology, but maybe this helps???

Re: Manifold Vacuum port
Well, if you're still wondering?? basically that port supplies vacuum for assorted accessories. If you have just a race car and need none of that just plug it. Otherwise, if you want HVAC controls and other stuff controlled by vacuum you want to hook it up. If you have any more interest in needing info LMK
