Can you ID this part?
Hey all, right after I got my car I was checkin things over and while investigating why the cruse control cable was off the throttle body I noticed a part just laying there. It is some sort of bracket and im not sure where it goes..... Take a look and see if you have see this thing before. Its on the 350 in my 88.

That is the upper radiator hose support bracket. It bolts on the alternator bracket to help support the upper radiator hose.

Yep. It's actually there to keep the upper radiator hose from dropping onto the serpentine belt. Pretty much not needed since the hose holds itself up. Insurance on GM's part.

Up, thats exactly what it is.... Didnt even notice the extra bolt hole in the alternator with out you guys pointing it out. Thanks, that was buggin me.
