Did you disconnect the battery for about ten minutes to erase the stored code?

Re: code 13
Is that the only code you`re getting? Is your ses light currently on?I would start by disconnecting the battery for a while.Do you have a scanner or any way to dattalogg? How are you finding you have code 13?May be your CTS(Coolant temp sensor)When was your last tune up?

Re: code 13
I used a code scanner and thats the only code showing up. I recently put the new tranny back in and was starting to do a complete tune up. Just recently replaced the 02 sensor, spark plugs, oil change, fuel filter, and put a new battery. Also while driving today the car was jerking and thumping real loud. the sound was coming from the rear again, next to where the fuel filter is located. Not sure what to do......might just sell the damn car.

I dont know if I`d go as far as selling it.Its prolly something simple.Any chance you put the fuel filter on backwards.Fuel pump or relay may be bad.Did you try dissconecting the battery to reset the codes? Are you sure you put all the plug wires on the correct plugs. How was it running before the tune up?

Re: code 13
sounds like a smialar problem im having, my rick problem is stemming for the MAF circut and it making the car run rich....disconnect the battery and clear the codes and then start her up and see if the code throws again. if it does start by checking the O2 circut

Re: code 13
I'd try running a ground wire to it. It gets ground though the exhaust system which isn't great, especially if you have aftermarket gaskets on your exhaust manifolds. We're talking about half a volt here. Doesn't take much.

Re: code 13
took out the battery like yall suggested and it helped clear the code for a while. but the car still runs rich and has poor performance. Check engine light went back on also. Took it around the block and the rear is making a hard thumping sound. Car seems to also jerk when i'm at a dead stop. Checked my fluids and plugs to see if they were fouled. everything seemed to be good. now what?

Re: code 13
If it says you still have a bad O2 sensor I`d start there.May have the plug wires on the wrong plugs if it`s jerking.
