DON'T OPEN FAKE MAF SITE

NOT AN APRIL 1 JOKE!

was doing some reading on MAF last night and came across a site that looked like a youtube on internals and how to take apart.
went to open it and i got a download note so i downloaded. none of my virus programs picked it up.
opened the file to see the MAF info and every virus program i had went nuts.
it even has its own fake microsoft clean up with the fake - "delete this file".
first thing i did was disconnect from the net. i have wifi
then i closed every window it opened. and when i closed the actual explorer window it came from the virus program that i was agreeing with to shut it down disappeared. it was using a fake virus to get my permission to do something, but i dont know what.
left the computer on so it could not get into the startup and ran every clean up program i had and i went to bed.
this morning i found that the darn thing tried to get out during the night as my anti virus programs were hunting it down.
i must have had 20 explorer windown open - but i was not connected to the net and it had no place to go.
finally about 4:00 am the last of it was hunted down and killed so by 6 when i got up all was clean. i just had to close some windows and away I went.

ITS NOT JUST **** THAT YOU GET A VIRUS FROM

but what kind of sick person would hide a virus in a fake MAF youtube take apart show. NOW THAT IS SICK!
